INNOVATIVE EDUCATION FOR EQUALITY: undertaking and supporting education projects and initiatives to advance gender equality and inclusion in Prince Edward Island;
SUPPORTING OTHERS FOR EDUCATION AND AWARENESS: organizing, sponsoring, and/or assisting with learning institutes, conferences and other forums to discuss, exchange ideas, build skills and raise public awareness of issues affecting gender equality or inclusion in Prince Edward Island;
LEARNING AND RESEARCH: identifying legal, cultural, socio-economic and political barriers to substantive gender equality and excluded people and groups, including identifying systemic and structural barriers to equality and inclusion;
APPLYING WHAT WE LEARN: identifying promising practices for addressing barriers to gender equality and inclusion, with an emphasis on promising practices that use an intersectional feminist lens and approach;
SHARING WHAT WE KNOW: communicating information to members or the public regarding gender equality and inclusion;
BUILDING CAPACITY: fundraising and developing resources to fund education projects and initiatives to advance gender equality.
